Life, it got busy again.

I guess busy is a good thing. But ye ole' blog is usually the first thing that gets put to the wayside.

True to form, I got busy and didn't post this when I wrote it. Go figure. So here's a bit more...

Last night I went out with the work ladies and Johnny and had some good times, pizza, and some scoops ice cream. It's only the third time we've all been out together.

I have a second date tonight with a really nice guy. I'm optimistic.

Tomorrow is a dinner with my old Tri team ladies, it's been too long.

Monday Jaymie's Birthday BBQ and then movies with the boys in the evening.

It's gonna be a long and fun Memorial Day weekend!

Reflecting on why we say things...

I think a lot about why we say the things we do, the stories we choose to tell. I trying to see someones motovation behind saying something. A meaning other than just to inform? Is it to make you seem better, smarter, funny, attractive?

I think about why I tell stories, but I usually start thinking about that in the middle of a story. Sometimes my brain runs in circles and makes me exhausted. (Like my schedule lately.)
