Back to life.
So I think I have enough material for 100 posts from the past month of traveling. Before I get into my stories I wanted to say how grateful I am to be able to travel. It's not just the money and time it takes to be able to go on my little adventures, but it's the fact that I'm healthy and able to go half way around the world and spend my days walking and exploring.
Just thankful.
My trip to Rome was overwhelming and wonderful, which I've said before and I'll say again. I know people do it all the time, but I flew over an ocean and navigated a city where I didn't know the language, and I made it back home in one piece.
It's much easier to go to Pittsburgh and see my family there, but (though less cathartic for me) it's equally important.
More posts coming soon.

Home
Big cozy bed, pile o' mail, 500+ pictures to sort through, a surprisingly non-exploded DVR, lonely friends, and I'm still awake on hour 22 (why!?!)
Back to life.
Time to start planning the next trip.

Work Work, busy busy. Kerflop.
So I'm back in LA with just a few days between my trips. A little nervous for the upcoming adventure, but in a good way.
Playing with Mr. Henry the dog last night I slipped on the wet brick patio and totally bit the dust! I went down hard... on my knees. Ouch! I just sat on the ground and got my bearings, then hobbled back into the house. I was done playing for the night, sorry Henry.
I'm not as bruised as I thought I was going to be, but just a little sore than anything else.
Ouch.
